I'm both excited and anxious to get started. - I did this before and lasted 8 days.. I'm determined to go 10 this time! I'm giving up caffine - what I love - for the cleanse because I want to do this the right way - no cheating, no excuses!! Hope it goes well, I plan on using this message board for lots of support! |

As you probably know the first three days are the roughest, so hang in there.

Thanks, so far, so good. I will check out the info. you listed. I did take 2 Excedrine though, because of headaches.. I know that's probably not good, but I could not survive the day w/ the first graders! So far, the herbal, all natural tea is my best friend. I keep telling myself "I can do this!" I really appreciate the support because I'm on my own with this.. I'm thinking about going 12 days instead of 10. Take care! |

Burroughs does mention aspirin in his writings and reccommends it not be used, he believes that aspirin "weakens" the elimination in many people and slows the detox process, but if it comes right down to whether you're able to tolerate the "detox" headaches or not, because they become too intense, I would say take the aspirin (or excedrine) rather than break the cleanse, but take only when absolutly necessary and the minumum dose possible and quit using it as soon as relief is at hand.
On another forum I believe one cleanser said that if you take aspirin on the cleanse to get you through the first couple days that it is good to add a day or two to the cleanse to compensate, so your considering going 12 days may be a good idea.
