I have done this cleanse several times in the past and will be starting again tomorrow. I have decided to use the Agave instead of the maple syrup just because i prefer the taste of agave. I will be blogging under this post several times a week and would love if anyone would like to start a buddy system. If so feel free to post here! I'm not sure exactly how long i will go but i am at least committing 10 days and depending on how things go maybe longer.

Good morning everyone. So today is day one for me And when i weighed myself i instantly got depressed And angry with myself, but i guess there is no reason to dwell on it. Instead i intend to make some major changes starting with this cleanse. To be healthy i need to lose around 100 pounds so this is just the begining for me.. If there is anyone out there that has lost a significant amount of weight using the mc please share what you did.

Some people do well with extended cleanses, others lose large amounts of weight doing repeated 10 - 14 day cleanses with a few weeks in between. The key with repeated cleanses is to maintain a healthy diet while on solid foods; including plenty of raw veggies and fruits, and avoiding refined sugars and saturated/trans fats. One great tip is to eat slowly, it takes about 20 minutes for the brain to register the feeling of "fullness" regardless of how much you eat. If you eat slowly you will start to feel the sensation of fullness at an appropriate time (way before you over-eat) and you should stop there. This way you're a lot less likely to regain the weight lost when you're in between cleanses.

Robin Quivers did the Master Cleanse/Lemonade Diet for 21 consecutive days on three separate occasions and lost a total of 70 pounds. Claiming all along that it was "a spiritual journey...a completely different way to be". Afterwards she said; "I don't ever want to feel the way I felt ever again."

For more rapid weight loss less than the 2 Tbsp. of maple syrup may be used, but never less than 1 Tbsp. per 10 ounce glass. Watch your energy levels when cutting back on the maple syrup.

Sometimes on this cleanse your weight loss will reach a plateau and you'll feel "stuck". Varying daily caloric intake will generally break you out of a plateau, your body has a memory of it's own and sometimes just doesn't break down fat because it's accustomed to the same caloric intake. To vary caloric intake change up your dose of maple syrup. Add only 1 Tbsp. per 10 ounce glass of MC/lemonade for a day and then go back to 2 Tbsp. per glass the next day. Alternating back and forth daily often prompts (fools) the body into dropping some extra weight. Every tablespoon of maple syrup contains 52 calories.

Brisk walks outside, deep breathing fresh air (weather and climate permitting) will help with weight loss. If you must remain indoors, any exercise in moderation is good.

Try to break a sweat with a steam bath, sauna or  Detoxification Bath  (clickable link).

Good morning just wanted to report that i am now 4.8 pounds down on day two. I know that most of it is probably water weight but who cares im still happy... I had a good day yesterday,no hunger pangs or cravings. Im just trying to stay focused on my goals. Im considering cycling 10days of mc and 10 days of mc and one light meal a day until i reach my goal. My mini goal is to lose 50lbs by the end of april. My ultimate goal is to lose 109lbs by the end of august of this year. I hope these are realistic goals
