This soup might not be the best tasting but it has a lot more nutrients preserved then the others that are recommended. I'm a holistic health counselor so I'm pretty experienced with the MC for years now. It's also loaded with garlic which is so good for you but you can use less if you don't like that much. Bon Apetit!!!

1 yellow onion
5 cloves of garlic
chopped celery
chopped carrots
chopped broccoli
chopped parsley

black pepper
cayenne pepper
no salt(but you can if you want)

You want to boil about three cups of water and after it starts boiling put all the veggies in, cover and cook ONLY for 8 minutes. Get your blender out and put the veggies with its water in the blender and puree. After you put the soup in the bowl to eat i also add more chopped garlic, this time raw. As you can see its going to be very garlicy soup but very very nutritious and i love the taste as well.

Hi Diana, and thanks for thr recipe...

This soup sounds delicious to me, but I eat a lot of garlic (both raw and cooked) so I'm used to the taste. I'll definitely make this soup but I would change one thing: I would substitute cabbage broth for the water, here's why...

Cabbage has both of the two main types of detoxifying enzymes in the liver.

Rich in nutrition, cabbage is relatively high in fiber and it is one of the most cleansing of all vegetable foods. Cabbage is an absolutely phenomenal source of Vitamin C. Even more impressive is that cabbage is famous for a specialized, naturally occurring, nitrogenous compound known as indoles. Current research indicates that indoles can lower the risk of various forms of cancer.

Modern science has proven beyond a reasonable doubt the health benefits and therapeutic value of cabbage, which also plays a role in the inhibition of infections and ulcers. Cabbage extracts have been proven to kill certain viruses and bacteria in the laboratory setting. Cabbage boosts the immune system's ability to produce more antibodies. Cabbage provides high levels of iron and sulphur, minerals that work in part as cleansing agents for the digestive system.

Cabbage is also rich in the following nutrients:
Vitamin A: responsible for the protection of your skin and eyes.
Vitamin C: an all important anti-oxidant and helps the mitochondria to burn fat.
Vitamin E: a fat soluble anti-oxidant which plays a role in skin integrity.
Vitamin B: helps maintain integrity of nerve endings and boosts energy metabolism.

There you have it, my Smiley
