Vegeman!!! (or anyone who may know) Is it ok to do the SWF with Hypertension? I've been on low sodium, no salt diet, well lifestyle change, due to my blood pressure. Should I do the tea only?? Lets Go Cleansers!

As Burroughs says in the MC booklet: "The salt water has the same specific gravity as the blood, hence the kidneys cannot pick up the water and the blood cannot pick up the salt. This may be taken as often as needed for proper washing of the entire digestive system. It is quite advisable to take the herb laxative tea at night to loosen, then the salt water each morning to wash it out." It is always best to check with a trusted health care professional whenever questions like this arise. The Master Cleanse usually results in a lowered blood pressure as the arteries and other blood vessels are cleaned of plaque and debris. Blood pressure may rise as a result of a heavy detox cycle while on this cleanse, but that should be a temporary situation.
I would recommend you monitor your BP closely and consult with a professional if it continues or gets worse after a few days on the cleanse.
