| I started the master cleanse over a week ago and made it to day 5. Then I did the SWF and it made me feel really sick. Not the bowel movement part, but the dehydration and my stomach afterwards. I even drank like 10 glasses of water to try and help. SO I ended up eating some soup and a bun and got discouraged. I have been off of it (I did the OJ phase and soup and everything) and have been eating solid foods since Friday. Is it okay to jump back on and start over? Or should I wait a while. I really love this diet. I lost so much weight even in the first 4 days, and a lot of my cravings are gone. Please help! I only plan to do the cleanse for the 10 days, 14 at most. |

You can restart this cleanse anytime you feel up to it. After all, some cleansers go for 40 days, even more.
If you had problems with dehydration and your stomach after the SWF, I wonder is you got the measurements right? One of the most common mistakes I've seen reported here on this message board is the misreading of measurements, especially the confusion of tsp. (teaspoon) with Tbsp. (Tablespoon) and vise-versa.
The SWF (Salt Water Flush/Internal Salt Water Bathing) is critical and the salt is measured in tsp. (teaspoon) increments. (2 level tsp. to a quart of water) to be exact. Using Tbsp. (Tablespoon) measurements for the SWF could be disastrous and cause vomiting and/or other digestive tract disturbances.
