Good evening, I hope to document my journey for the next 40 or so days while I do the Master Cleanse with support from this website and sheer determination. Bio- I am over weight hence my reason but also I feel like crap alot of times and I know for my age feeling like crap means something's wrong in my life and I need tochange my lifestyle because Im pretty young. Sorry I can't side with all of you out there with children and spouses, but I do have a good job and put my heart into it every day. I tried to do this cleanse before without knowing much and ultimately failed after 4 days, not because I love food too much but because I just wasn't motivated enough. But now getting in shape is a must for me and my more-mature-than-back-then mind is ready, because I am ready to challenge myself. So this is the end of Day 0. I hope to suceed and I look forward to spending the next 40 days or so on this sight. Chao! |

Hi haruharulemon and
40 days is an ambitious goal, but after the first three days it generally gets much easier. I recommend you don't set goals that are too lofty; after you've succesfully completed ten days on the cleanse it's best to be practical and take it one day at a time. Self-esteem is usually improved by setting easily attainable goals and increasing them when the time comes, that way you won't be dissappointing yourself. IMHO, repeated intermittent cleanses of 10 to 14 days are often as effective, if not more so, than extended cleanses.
Robin Quivers did the Master Cleanse/Lemonade Diet for 21 consecutive days on three separate occasions and lost a total of 70 pounds. Claiming all along that it was "a spiritual journey...a completely different way to be". Afterwards she said; "I don't ever want to feel the way I felt ever again." Hope this helps...

Good Morning! Today was a pretty easy day aside from showing up to work where homemade salsa (love<3) was in my face and then later on in the night Ceaser's Pizza. My body was fine drinking the lemonade but my mentality was going berserk, so I had to rationalize and bribe myself, hehe. Technically what I told myself was if I got through this I would have my supervisor make me a batch of salsa just for me then I'd have a big party with lots of pizza and other junk. It sounds bad, like why get on the cleanse if I'm just going to go back to my old eating habits, but in reality I know I only want the food because I can't have it and I know that by the end of this I won't have the cravings for the same things anymore. Aside from the temptation side of things I only drank half of the SWF and due to a sleeping roommate I'll have to drink my tea tomorrow morning -_-'' My abdominal hurt when the number two was moving through my system which gave me a wake up call. I never noticed how rare bowel movements came to me nowadays thus I think the reason it hurt was because I wasn't used to it. I realize that my diet must really have been crap before now. On my calender apparently (if I go all 40 days) I should be done right before Thanksgiving which I find kind of ironic which then makes me laugh. I also marked little 'check points' to help me feel less monotonous-little things to look forward to such as, the number of paydays, room inspections, weekends, etc. I find it quite exciting and motivational. Overall, I believe today was a success; I drank the lemonade whenever I got a craving or felt hungry, I stayed busy when I was out of work, and I even have my coworkers cheering me on (some of which are interested in the cleanse). Thank you alot vegeman, I am very happy to make your acquaintance and shall take your advice to heart. The links were very helpful too!^^ Day1 over and out! |
