For more details on my master cleanse trek, please see my blog http://tryingthemastercleanse.wordpress.com/

I am on day 8 (but really day 3 because I cheated on day 5- but it is debatable whether or not I should consider starting from day 1 again because of the circumstances ) and I really am having a rough time with my body, feeling well enough to complete my tasks at school and work and have many time sensitive things due by the end of this week, and a dinner to make it to by Friday. Should I stop now and pick up when I have more time to plan ahead for this? Or would it be worth going until Wednesday and seeing what happens? I ultimately wanted this cleanse to aid in curbing my sugar binges and cravings, to feel good in my body again and to lose a few pounds to motivate getting to where I want to be by the middle of May.

Please, I am not looking to be reprimanded for letting myself slip technically twice. I recognize my failure and am trying to make the right decision from here

Thank you!

Hey all, I'm now on my eighth day of the cleanse and am relatively going strong... However, I've really lost my appetite during the past few days. Yesterday, I couldn't bring myself to drink the lemonade so I doubled the concentration and drank it for lunch instead. I ended up skipping dinner because I didn't feel hungry. I missed drinking it on the day before for dinner, and I actually haven't drank any of it today, either (I plan to force some down when I get home, but yeah...). I do still get cravings when I walk around my town (since it's a neighborhood with a lot of restaurants, so the air is just filled with aromas of different foods) and/or see pictures of food, but they subside quickly and are replaced with a painful cramping in my stomach.

Is there anything I can do to improve this? Is the fact thy I've been skipping out on some doses of the lemonade going to be highly detrimental to my cleanse?

Thank you so much for any advice you can offer!

Looking for a Cleanse Partner! Starting Apr 13/12 to cleanse this depression away!!

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking to embark on another cleanse tomorrow (April 13, 2012). This will be my third cleanse. I did my first one last June for 14 days. The second one was this past January for 7 days. The first one was a great success! I lost weight, felt great etc. I ate a mostly raw food diet for several months, but around October began to slowly slip back into my old habits. The one in January was also successful, but VERY challenging to do in the thick of winter. I went back to my old eating habits within less than a month.

To tell the truth, I feel like crap right now. I have no motivation. It's difficult just getting out of bed in the am. Even when the days are sunny, it seems dark to me. The major issue is that I'm in my 30's now, and I'm feeling very, very sad over the fact that I've never been married and don't have children by now. I always wanted a family, and not having a family, a husband, or even the PROSPECT of a relationship right now is so hard. I was with someone for 2 years who I thought was the one, but it wasn't to be.We split up 18 months ago, but its still hard to get over somehow, I don't know why this one has been so hard to shake off. Nursing a break up with a "boyfriend" when you're 30-something and most people around you have BEEN married or in long-term relationships is hard. Literally a dozen of my girlfriends are pregnant right now, or have had babies within the last year. Every day I go on Facebook, I am greeted by another pregnancy/engagement/wedding announcement in my Newsfeed, complete with pictures. Though I am so very thrilled for my dear friends who I love, it also serves as a reminder of how far I am from my dream. I knew I needed to cleanse when the other day I was reading some stories about some women who are struggling to conceive with their husbands. Their stories were so heartbreaking. But I actually thought to myself, "at least they have a husband to try with. If they were alone like me then they'd really be hopeless. How can you hope to have a baby when you have no one to make a baby with?"

This is not like me. I really need to get my mind clear.

Over the last 2 weeks or so I've tried starting the cleanse and failed twice. I've been binging on boxes of candy bars at night. I need to get my positivity back. I need to get control of my thoughts and feelings. I feel like I'm spiraling downwards into an awful pit. I know the MC has done wonders for my mood before. I was so vibrant and healthy and feeling positive last year. I want to feel that way again. I can't afford therapy right now, and I don't know of any free counseling in my area, so I'll have to start with this.

Is there anyone out there dealing with similar issues and embarking on the MC? Depression, lack of motivation, just feeling weighed down, in need of some support? It would be great to be able to support each other here!

Thanks for reading
